WHO NEEDS TRAINING?
Market Background
  • To my knowledge at present there is very little professional training available throughout Europe which specialises in vinyl application. I have been informed that there is a City and Guilds course in the London, which offers a qualification, but I have yet to find more details.
  • At present I am only aware of one vinyl manufacturer that offers a training scheme as such. Anyone wishing to take advantage of their product warrantee must employ the services of an approved applicator as is the case with Vehicle Wrapping.

Training Program

  • Vinyl application is without doubt a skilled process; vehicle wrapping is very highly skilled.
  • In terms of training, I would consider a minimum of three months "on the job" as the most effective method for someone starting from scratch.
  • This investment may cause unacceptable delays with the introduction of this product however it is paramount that controls are maintained if we are to offer an application warrantee.
  • Vehicle Wrapping will issue a Certificate of Competence to candidates that complete a specific training schedule and a written exam to a required standard. They will have existing experience with general vinyl applications including wrapping and will have under taken previous training.
  • Training is essential and compulsory to comply with our warrantee requirements.
  • As part of our core activities Vehicle Wrapping will provide onsite trainig at our premises in Cirencester, giving expert tuition and guidance on all aspects of the business.
